Mr. Ovidiu Goran is a respected legal professional and an active member of the Olt Bar Association since 2006. He is also a member of the European Association of Labour Law Lawyers (EELA) and serves as a non-executive member of the board of directors of a multinational company, as well as being a founding member of a philanthropic organisation. With a solid educational background and extensive practical experience, Ovidiu has earned recognition for his expertise in preventive consulting and dispute resolution.

Having graduated from West University Timisoara with a law degree in 2004, Ovidiu expanded his knowledge by completing an MBA from Maastricht University in 2017. This multidisciplinary approach has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both legal and business principles, enabling him to provide holistic solutions to his clients. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. programme at Vrije University, Amsterdam, and DCU Business School, Dublin, focusing on industrial relations research. This academic pursuit reflects his commitment to advancing legal knowledge and understanding, particularly in areas such as the decline of unions, union revitalization strategies, union representation at the level of administrative boards, and the evolution of unions in Romania.

In his practice, Mr. Goran prioritises proactive legal consulting, aiming to anticipate and mitigate risks for his clients. His expertise covers various areas of corporate and commercial law and fiscal contentious matters, including risk assessment, project management, and corporate governance. He has a particular interest in heavy industrial machinery acquisitions, where his attention to detail has earned him the trust of many clients.

As a litigator, Mr. Goran has experience across a range of legal fields, with notable expertise in commercial disputes, employment law, and fiscal matters. He has successfully represented clients in high-profile fiscal cases, known for his strategic preventive approach and dedication to achieving positive outcomes.

Mr. Goran is a former member of the Romanian national football team of lawyers, having participated in the Eurolawyers tournaments in 2009 in Rovinj, Croatia, and in 2011 in Benidorm, Spain. He is also a proud husband and father of three children.
